4th day of cny

hohoho! so it was the 4th day of cny and my house was back to normal. everyone has left my house and it is left with me, my bro, my parents and my grandma. so yupp!

so xiuling was supposed to go for a primary school class gathering at night. haha. every year this is the time to update on what each other is doing. wasnt sure how many ppl was going though. but still, it will be interesting. thanks ya, guys, for always being the ones organizing. haha

as usual, xiuling doesnt know what most others were doing or just couldnt remember. sigh. so sorry. xiuling shall try to recite here.

jiun farn - uniTEN (haha, now i know that the -TEN has sth to do with TENaga nasional berhad!), doing e & e
lisa khoo - acca at sunway university college
oh yu peng - biotech at intec, going to US soon under jpa
eric lau - tar college doing logistics transportation sth sth
andrew chua - gonna do music production hopefully at boston
wei lun - ktm, staying super near lrt and monorail, doing pharmacy
katherine kang - got good results in a level. gonna do medicine at imu
yu lin - hospitality at nanyang poly
qin jia - waiting for stpm results

ok, ok, hopefully i will be able to remember them. had quite a good time there! hh, primary school friends till got things to talk about de, k?

oh ya, while andrew, yu lin and i were discussing how not very nice the spore food is, katherine was tempting us with the sound super good food at subang jaya! haha. maybe i should give it a visit before i go to aus sia.

another thing to remember was not to wear shorts at night! because i was bitten by the super fierce mosquitoes like mad. rarh!

ok, ok. enough of my story.

xiuling is just thankful that after so many years, her primary school friends are still in contact. and xiuling doesnt find them too unfamiliar. ppl always, sch friends are the best ya?

xiuling is still in contact with some of her secondary school classmates. but there are some whom she has lost contact with. hmmm, where are they ya? xiuling just realized that they are mainly the malay friends that she made in convent. maybe xiuling should start looking for them ya.

3rd day of cny

xiuling woke up at 645am today to call New College Village!! and then she went back to sleep until 8am! haha

together with my sis and cousin and aunt, accompanied my mum to office to symbolically start work. then went to temple. and so sorry, lisa, only knew about the going to temple today. so yupp, had to inform you last minute to come later.

anyway, so yupp, lisa came at 11am. talked until nearly 1145am. then we went over to seet's house together. talked talked talked until about 1pm. then walked over to ong's house. haha. then this was where xiuling lost 7 ringgit playing black jack. LOL. anyway, thanks pals for the super funny time :) haha. soh ne, hopefully your black ********* helped :)

then xiuling came back at 230pm cos her sis was leaving at about 3pm. had lunch and talked and crapped until about 320pm. sis drove my cousins and aunt back to kl. they should be on the highway now while xiuling is writing this post. anyway, then xiuling felt tired. but dont know why, she decided to play wii. haha. xiuling played boxing and sweat super a lot from it. xiuling continued playing while my youngest bro was preparing his golf stuff for his practise. haha.

yupp, nothing much should happen tonight. xiuling's house is back to normal again. grandma, dad, mum, xiuling and youngest bro yan, with two maids at home. but it is still New Year ya!! :)

2nd day of cny

xiuling slept early but woke up late! haha, but actually my whole room woke up late too (finding excuses for herself)

anyway, so the teenagers, as usual, woke up late TOGETHER and had to queue for bathrooms. lol

then we went to my dad's new office site cos most of my relatives want to go there to have a look. we took many many photos there cos the adults were talking (finding excuses again) anyway, it was quite fun. haha! i shall upload the pics when i got them from my cousins.

by then, it was already about 130pm. then someone wanted to take picture with the 3 shop offices together with the name of the building. so we were practically standing at the roadside while my poor cousin had to cross the roads to another road side to take the picture. LOL. it should be quite a funny sight to see 20 plus ppl posing at the roadside! haha. xiuling cant wait to see the pic. :)

anyway, after that it was lunch! see, we kept eating! that's why xiuling gained weight! anyway, yupp, xiuling enjoyed the food and the company and xiuling liked this wine over the one on previous night! oh ya, after lunch, channel 8 was showing this china cny programme, super good sia :) so watched tv, talked and played cards all at the same time :)

soon after that, it was time for the singapore ppl to leave. my dad was driving my bro, my aunt and my cousins, and also this friend of mine from vj. yupp, like taxi, right? they left at 3plus. the farewell was classic too and xiuling thought of it!! hahaha (thick skinned, right?)

then my sis asked me to go out to meet her friends with her. what kind of logic is that, right? but well, i went along. apparently my sis's friends had been at that house for pretty long. so they decided to leave soon after my sis and i reached. and then!!!!! my mum called to say that my 大姨 and her family were at my house! so there was that cousin niece that i mentioned and also two more cousin nieces!! so xiuling demanded a ride back home and after much negotiation, xiuling won! haha. sis drove me home and i had so much fun with the two elder nieces (6 years old and 3 years old) hahaha! xiuling also got to see her 大姐,二姐,三姐,大哥,二哥. they are my da yi's children and xiuling was brought up by her da yi and these cousins! haha :) so happy!!!! :) :)

at night, xiuling, sis and weining (xiuling's cousin) went to attend this dinner at yong sheng banquet hall. thanks ya, yan for the seats. anyway, it was like a cny dinner with performances. there were songs, dance, 杂技,财神爷 and others! not bad the programme and xiuling enjoyed it for she a bit 自 high with her cousin. haha. the food was not bad too! kudo to yong sheng and star restaurant ya! :)

by the time we went back, it was already about 11pm. took bath and checked email. and then xiuling realised that she forgot to pay her AUS$2000 for her residential college in Sydney! rarh!!! so yupp, that means she has to wake up super early the next day to call to sydney!!

first day of cny

today is the first day of cny! as usual, there were only my grandmother, my parents and my siblings here. cos my only paternal uncle is in australia and my aunts normally come later on the 1st day.

anyway, so yupp, i woke up a few times in the night. then at 850am, i woke up again. this time, i was thinking, isnt the lion dance ppl suppose to reach soon? haha, before i could clear up my head, i heard the drums! ooops! they are already at my neighbour's house, which means their next stop is my house! LOL! i hasnt washed up and my sis was still sleeping! so yupp, had a super rush morning, washed up, changed and went down to wait for the lion dance. haha.

the lion dance 'danced' for quite long and made a word 祥 with the mandarin oranges. took a picture with my family members too. hahaha.

after that, went to take a bath and finally settled down for b-runch at 10am. then dad stayed at home, just in case any guests come over. mum drove to gradma and grandpa's house while my brothers and i went in another car driven by my sis. this is so that my mum can come back earlier to help my dad while we the kids continue staying at my grandparents' place. lol

anyway, talked and had quite a bit of fun there. saw my cousins, uncles, aunts and then also my cutest cousin niece! :) haha.

anyway, then at nearly 3pm, came back home. realised that my dad's cousin's children were at my house. haha. and so there were 4 little children there! and since xiuling's cousin niece came back with her, there were suddenly 5 kids who were all under 6 years old at her house! haha.

not long after my dad's cousin's children left, my 三姑 arrived with her daughters from singapore. haha. so happy to see them! :) did nothing much then, slacked and talked and watched tv and talked.

oh ya, we, the 4 kids are supposed to bring my younger brother to go to some places to bai nian on this day, cos he was going back to singapore the next day. so yupp, grandparents' place, tick! there are 3 more places to go. but the weather was just too warm to make us feel like moving. LOL

anyway, so at about 5 plus, finally we decided to go to my relative's house, which is actually just beside mine. haha. talked talked talked and xiuling learnt sth! xiuling learnt that if she wears slippers in the house, her feet might not be so cracky.

anyway, xiuling's 四姑and小姑 arrived later with their family. so dinner was a big affair today. had lots of food (that's why xiuling gained weight) and talked and drank wine too! hahaha. so fun!

you see, when there are many people eating, we tend to take super long to eat. so by the time we kinda realised that dinner was over, it was already about 9pm. so yupp, went to my dad's cousin's house for about half an hour. it was because my brother had to go back to spore the next day, remember? oh ya, 7 of us went in one car. cool, right?

then 4 ppl were dropped off at my house while 3 of us continued to pd's house. reached at about 1010pm and stayed there till 1130pm! haha.

yupp, then went home and guess what? the youngest 3 were super energetic today while the teenagers were super tired. so yupp, xiuling knocked off at 1230am! hahaha. but xiuling knew that the adults were talking at the living room downstairs while the kiddos were playing near her room! LOL

19th birthday :)

xiuling just had her 19th birthday two days ago! :)

xiuling was loved by calls, messages, posts, greetings from many people.
